Sean Keohane Upholstery Workshop
Sean Keohane opened his Bristol City Centre workshop in 1983 providing traditional and modern upholstery for clients both locally and nationally.
He uses an extensive range of contemporary and traditional fabrics including leather and horsehair as well as a wide choice of trimmings such as woven braids and decorative nailing.
He works mainly for domestic clients but also for established organisations with older antique furniture such as The Red Lodge and The Georgian House Museum in Bristol. He can also carry out small batches of contract work for schools and colleges.
The majority of Sean’s work comes from people wanting to restore treasured items of upholstered furniture inherited from older
family members. He takes care to advise appropriately, for example some pieces may need simple recovering and others may need frame repairs as well as complete re-upholstering.
There is no charge for estimates and no VAT is added.
